Proud Recipients of 3 Australian Good Design Awards 2025
ABI Interiors is proud to be recognised among Australia’s leading design innovators, receiving three Green Tick accolades at the 2025 Australian Good Design Awards. The wins – for our Modi Adjustable Range, Mini Water Filter Tap and Glass Cleaner, and upcoming Sola Outdoor Range – highlight our ongoing commitment to creating design-led products that elevate everyday experiences.
Now in its 67th year, the Australian Good Design Awards is one of the world’s longest-running and most respected design programs, celebrating projects that exemplify innovation, functionality, and positive impact.
This year’s theme, “Design for Better,” underscores the transformative role of design in shaping a more balanced, inclusive, and sustainable world; a philosophy deeply aligned with ABI’s approach to product design.
The Modi Adjustable Range
Also recognised in the Good Design Awards’ Product Design category, the Modi Adjustable Range exemplifies our ability to combine innovation, precision, and refined simplicity.
Designed for versatility, the collection includes adjustable cabinetry pulls, entry door pulls, and towel rails, each engineered for effortless installation and tailored adaptability. Whether specified for new builds or retrofit applications, Modi offers a seamless solution that balances functionality with timeless design.
The Good Design Awards Jury commended the range for its “clean, well-executed and strongly adaptable design,” praising its suitability for both new builds and retrofit applications.
“While effective in function, it presents aesthetic distinctiveness within its category. The ABI Design Team should be congratulated on this standout example of good design in this category.”
With its understated form and intelligent detailing, Modi reflects our belief that good design evolves with the spaces it inhabits – offering flexibility without compromise.
Mini Water Filter Tap & Glass Cleaner
Completing ABI’s trio of wins at the Australian Good Design Awards, the Mini Water Filter Tap and Glass Cleaner was praised for its minimalist integration and intelligent engineering.
“A beautifully designed product with a strong minimalist aesthetic,” the Jury commented. “The integration of the glass cleaner is both clever and elegant…an inspiring project that raises the bar for good design in this category.”
Thoughtfully designed, the Mini Water Filter Tap and Glass Cleaner combines two everyday functions into a single streamlined form, enhancing functionality and efficiency while conserving water and saving space.
Available in five signature finishes, it’s the perfect companion for any kitchen or bar, delivering fresh, filtered water and effortless glass cleaning in one elegant solution.
Sola Outdoor Range (Launching 2026)
Recognised in the Product Design category at this year’s Good Design Awards, our upcoming Sola Outdoor Range reimagines outdoor living by extending interior design aesthetics seamlessly into exterior spaces.
At its heart is a dual-function, wall-mounted shower that also serves as a garden tap, complemented by sprayers and hose accessories. An extension of our existing Sola Collection, the range blends visual continuity with practical innovation, elevating everyday outdoor experiences.
The Jury described Sola as a “great example of holistic product design, thinking of the user from initial product range selection and aesthetics, installation and final user experience.”
Launching in 2026, Sola impresses with its discreet, elegant design, thoughtful detailing, and high-quality materials. Crafted from 316 stainless steel, the new outdoor range is built to withstand the elements while maintaining its refined, timeless aesthetic.
The Sola Wall-Mounted Outdoor Shower, in particular, was celebrated for its considered functionality, including height adjustability and the ability to retain the garden tap’s original use.
“ABI is quickly setting a high bar for design in this category – great work all round,” the Jury concluded.
A Celebration of Innovation and Impact
Speaking on the record-breaking calibre of entries at the Good Design Awards 2025, Rachel Wye, Managing Director of Good Design Australia, reflected on the event’s enduring significance.
“The projects honoured this year show how thoughtful design can drive meaningful change – from the way we live and work to how we care for our planet,” she said.
For the entire ABI team, the recognition reaffirms a continued pursuit of design excellence, creating products that not only perform beautifully but contribute to more purposeful, enduring spaces.
