ABI Interiors at London Design Week 2026

London Design Week 2026 once again brought together some of the world’s most influential designers, brands, and creatives, transforming the city into a vibrant hub of inspiration and innovation. For ABI Interiors, this year’s event marked an exciting shift in how we engaged with the design community, offering a sensory experience that went beyond traditional displays.

For the past five years, our London Showroom workshops have centred on the creative exercise of moodboarding, which has allowed attendees to explore materials, textures, and finishes. This year, however, we decided to take a different approach. Instead of moodboards, we hosted interior fragrance-making workshops, inviting guests to explore design through scent. The response was very encouraging, with over a hundred guests participating throughout the week.

Each fragrance was inspired by one of our signature collections: Kingsley, Namika, Elysian, and the forthcoming Nesso Collection. The scent profiles were carefully crafted to reflect the design sensibility behind each range, offering a unique way to experience the character of each collection.

The workshops offered a memorably immersive way for guests to connect with our designs, sparking conversations about how different collections can be incorporated into a range of interior projects. It was a creative reminder that great design isn’t just visual but can be felt and experienced in multiple ways.

Another highlight of the week was the exclusive preview of our Nesso Collection, presented to the London design community ahead of its global launch on 23rd March. The preview offered an early look at the collection’s refined aesthetic and thoughtful detailing. The Nesso Collection reimagines the square form through slim proportions and gently curved edges, creating a refined silhouette that feels modern yet timeless.

The response was overwhelmingly positive. Presenting Nesso in London ahead of its wider release created a special moment for showroom attendees, giving them a first glimpse of a collection that will soon become part of the global ABI Interiors offering.

As expected, London Design Week 2026 provided valuable insight into the evolving direction of interiors. Several key themes emerged across exhibitions, showrooms, and installations this year.

‘Designing for tomorrow’ was a central focus, with sustainability shaping conversations across the week. Designers emphasised the use of responsible materials, thoughtful production methods, and high durability constructions.

Another recurring theme was the art of craftsmanship and conscious creation. There is a growing appreciation for the skill, detail, and heritage that go into thoughtfully designed products, with many brands highlighting artisanal processes and handcrafted elements. This philosophy closely aligns with the approach behind many ABI Interiors collections, where careful design, considered material selection, and attention to detail ensure products are not only visually striking but also stand the test of time.

Heritage meeting the contemporary was another notable trend, with spaces blending traditional influences and modern forms to create layered, timeless interiors. Lighting also played a striking role, with designers exploring its use as sculpture, transforming functional fixtures into bold, statement-making pieces.

Similarly, vibrant prints and expressive patterns appeared throughout interiors, introducing personality and reinforcing the home as a space for artistic expression. Luxury bathroom design also took centre stage, with spaces envisioned as personal sanctuaries that prioritise relaxation, wellness, and premium materials, mirroring ABI Interiors’ approach to creating calming, practical, and elegant spaces.

London Design Week continues to be a highlight in the design calendar, offering valuable insight into where interiors are heading next. For the ABI Interiors team, the week was an opportunity not only to connect with the design community but also to share our collections in innovative new ways. This year’s event celebrated the sensory, artistic, and thoughtful nature of great design. We’re excited to see how these conversations continue to shape interiors in the year ahead.
