What type of coating is used on this product, is it durable?
PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) ABI Heat Shield - an industrial-grade molecular-based colouring system which provides a harder, more corrosive resistant finish whilst remaining environmentally friendly.
Can this product be used externally/outside?
ABI’s warranty does not cover external use due to the coatings being put under much harsher conditions and UV light. However the structural integrity of the rail would be fine.
