ABI Interiors Impresses at London Design Week 2023

Our showroom display and moodboarding sessions were especially met with warm acclaim.

ABI Interiors

London Design Week 2023 has concluded, and it was a remarkable event at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. ABI Interiors was proud to be a part of the bustling activity with our moodboarding sessions, which were a resounding success. The first day alone saw six sessions fully booked, with a seventh squeezed in to meet the high demand.

ABI Interiors

The highly anticipated annual affair is a must-attend showcase for both emerging and established designers from around the globe. Drawing in crowds from all corners of the world, London Design Week is a visual feast for design enthusiasts seeking to be inspired by the latest trends and groundbreaking ideas. Attendees can look forward to diverse workshops, industry talks, and installations highlighting the intersection of art, design, and architecture.

The London Design Week 2023 event attracted diverse visitors, including interior designers, renovators, homeowners, tradespeople, and students. With the ABI Interiors range on display, visitors had a chance to see world-class product quality and creativity up close — with many excited to receive an ABI Interiors gift bag!

The ABI Interiors UK team was overwhelmed by the response to their showroom and was heartened to hear that some visitors travelled three hours and took the day off work to attend the moodboarding sessions.

ABI Interiors

Moodboards are an essential tool for interior designers, homeowners, and renovators. This year, the trends our team featured were Wabi-Sabi and biophilic design, two concepts that have been gaining popularity in recent years. Wabi-Sabi is about embracing imperfection and simplicity, while biophilic design brings nature into indoor spaces. These two trends pair well together, as they both encourage a sense of calm and tranquillity, making them perfect for creating spaces that promote a personal sanctuary. The ABI Interiors Hegman Collection took centre stage during the moodboarding sessions, with the ability to work seamlessly with both themes.

The moodboarding sessions weren’t the only attraction at the event. Panel talks and workshops on creating a bathroom sanctuary, terrarium workshops, and lampshade painting sessions were also popular with visitors. Guests were even treated to sound meditation events and Italian cake-baking classes — there was truly something for everyone.

London Design Week 2023 was an incredible success, and we at ABI Interiors are thrilled to have played a part in it. We look forward to inspiring and exciting visitors with our collections and moodboarding sessions in future events!
