Creating a calming, stress-free sanctuary was top of mind for Studio Milne founder Ruth Milne when approaching this loft conversion in Walthamstow in North East London. “The brief was to create a really luxury space, but also a tranquil space,” says Ruth. “That was quite important to the clients, that they could come back from a hard day's work and soak in a bath and feel relaxed and a really calming space.”

Traditional herringbone flooring gives way to rich terrazzo tiling upon entering the main ensuite. It features a floating vanity and an inviting freestanding bath to create a clean, open ambience that maximises space and allows the terrazzo to take centre stage.
